Shore birds frequent this bay which fills and empties twice each day leaving a tidal stream filled with a variety of sea life. Herons, gulls and other birds sift through the catch of the day while ospreys survey from above. At high tide you can launch your kayak or canoe from the backyard to explore Audubon shoreline or pack a picnic lunch to enjoy on one of the swimming beaches at Lieutenant Island. The Cape Cod bike trail is less than 1 mile away as is the Marconi National Seashore or drive several miles to Wellfleet Center to explore the many art galleries, shops and restaurants. The large master bedroom suite includes a full bath with walk-in closet, the guest suite includes a half-bath with walk-in closet and the bonus space on the lower level includes a half-bath. All bedrooms have water views! An additional full bath is located off the main living area and a traditional outdoor shower sits under the deck with a private view of the bay. The open concept kitchen boasts new stainless-steel appliances, quartz countertops and a large island with a sink overlooking the bay. A dining area connects to the living room with 24 feet of glass sliders opening onto the deck. A small lower den provides an additional sitting space for games, reading or an afternoon nap. A raised wooden walkway welcomes you to the front door while leaving beach sand behind. Bring your slippers as this is a leave your shoes at the door kind of home sweet home. Morning sun will greet you from the 3-season porch where you can enjoy coffee with friends or a good book.
