Truro Cape Cod Beaches - Head of the Meadow Beach
Head of the Meadow Beach in Truro is one more in the string of spectacular National Seashore Beaches. At the northern end of the "arm" of the Cape, the currents deposit sand and the sand bars change frequently. The sand bars contribute to the excellent body surfing here. Remains of shipwrecks show up once in a while at low tide. This beach is part National Seashore and part Town of Truro, making it the only ocean side beach in Truro open to the public for a daily parking fee.
